
We win again in the National FARMER OF THE YEAR Competition!
The Final Gala of the 21st edition of the National FARMER OF THE YEAR Competition took place in Warsaw on February 6, 2015. In this edition of the competition, the Bartnik Mazurski Apiary Farm won first place in the Special Departments of Agricultural Production Category.
The competition was attended by farms from various industries distinguished by their dynamic development, production results on the farm as well as a highly rated social attitude.
The candidacy of Agnieszka and Robert Pucer was submitted by the ARIMR Branch in Olsztyn.
For years, the competition has been held under the patronage of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the President of the Agricultural Property Agency, and the Rector of the University of Technology and Life Sciences in Bydgoszcz. Media partnerships include: TVP Regionalna, the Polish Agricultural Press Group, and the First Agricultural Portal.
In June 2014, based on submitted materials, the Competition Jury, composed of representatives of the "Polish Farmer of the Year" Association, agricultural universities, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Agricultural Property Agency, and independent experts, conducted farm audits and selected the finalists for the 21st edition of the Competition from among 300 registered farms. Agnieszka and Robert Pucer took first place in the Special Agricultural Production category. From July to September, the Jury's representatives visited the finalists' farms.
The winners of the competition received the title of Farmer of the Year, the Golden Apple Statuette - the symbol of the competition, a commemorative engraving of tons, and a letter of congratulation from the President of the Republic of Poland, presented by Dariusz Młotkiewicz from the Chancellery of the President and the Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy, Janusz Piechociński.
