Grand Prix Regionalii 2013 for our heather honey!

The second Regionalia Regional Products Fair and the premiere Agritourism Fair took place at the MT Polska Center in Warsaw on Friday, April 19th. For three days, until April 21st, visitors could enjoy culinary specialties from across Poland and the world, including exquisite honeys, organic meats, aromatic baked goods, traditional preserves, and regional beverages. This year, the fair featured over 200 exhibitors from Poland and around the world (Morocco, Georgia, Bulgaria, Austria, Lithuania, Hungary, and Spain). They encouraged visitors to discover the region's charms not only from a culinary perspective but also from a natural one. All at once, visitors could savor the unique flavors of local specialties and explore interesting opportunities for relaxation in peace and harmony with nature. Among the regional offerings, the Bartnik Mazurski Apiary Farm presented the region and its honeys as a representative of Warmia and Mazury.

Bartnik Mazurski competed in the prestigious "Treasures of Nature" competition, co-organized with TVR Agricultural Television, and won the Grand Prix for its heather honey. The jury announced that our honey received the maximum number of points and was unrivaled in its category.

The commission included representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Marshal’s Office of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship, the Polish Chamber of Regional and Local Products and the fair organizer.

We were very (pleasantly) surprised by this award. This is our second at the Regional Awards, as we also received the Grand Prix for our linden honey last year. This confirms the importance of our work and the quality of our products!

The honorary patrons of this year's edition of the Regionalia Fair were: the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Marshal of the Mazowieckie Voivodeship and the Polish Chamber of Regional and Local Products.
